Cyberiver centers on the flow of data in the digital age, depicting the ongoing exchange between people and social media. By creating multiple digital identities online, we share our lives while simultaneously turning ourselves into data that can be collected, analyzed, and circulated.

As we continuously upload information, the internet also captures, stores, and reorganizes our digital traces. From purchase histories and location data to everyday conversations, these fragments accumulate into a vast, largely invisible river of data that flows through the systems shaping contemporary life.

Through Cyberiver, Wu gives form to this invisible digital river, inviting viewers to reflect on their place within social media and the infrastructures of data circulation, and on how we gradually become part of the systems we help create.
